FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE

National Association of Hemophilia suffering patients-branch Nis, under the auspices of Municipality of Palilula-City of Nis, organized from 10-12. May 2013, in the "Tami Residence" Hotel, International workshop for specialists in physical medicine and physiotherapy titled "Improving access to physiotherapy treatment of people with hemophilia”. The workshop is intended to professionals who deal with problems of persons with hemophilia and patients suffering from hemophilia and the media, stressed Vladimir Elijah, president of the Hemophilia Society of Serbia and prof. Dr. Ivona Stankovic, director of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

At the opening ceremony of the three-day meeting, the workshop participants were welcomed by Boban Džunić, president of Municipality of Palilula, and then Prof. Zoran Perisic, Mayor of the City of Nis.

International Workshop "Improving access to physiotherapy treatment of people with hemophilia," was held under the concept "From theory to practice" with the active participation of patients with hemophilia. The speakers were: Piet de Klein, from the Netherlands; Alina Iliescu from Romania; Natasa Jankovic from Nis; Cesar Haddad from Lebanon; Veslava Rezdević Janowitz from Lithuania; Victoria Jusinskaite from Lithuania. Organizer of the project "Improvement of the physiotherapy approach to the treatment of persons with hemophilia” Natasa Jankovic, a senior physiotherapist in CCNis, thanked TA" TRAVEGO Ltd.
